Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Boardman, Oregon, is seeking a Data Center Engineering Technician to maintain and troubleshoot mission-critical data center facilities.

You will handle electrical and mechanical equipment, standby generators, UPS, PDUs, CRAC, chillers, and fire/life safety systems, ensuring reliability and safety at all times. This role requires hands-on experience, ability to travel between sites, and flexible scheduling including potential 12-hour shifts and on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.
• 2+ years electrical and mechanical experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, and/or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety systems in data center facilities.
• Monitor, operate, and troubleshoot mission-critical facility equipment and building management systems.
• Coordinate with contractors and internal teams to ensure safety, compliance, and on-time completion of tasks.
