Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is hiring a Data Center Engineering Technician to maintain mission-critical infrastructure and support 24/7 reliability across multiple data centers in AZ.

You'll troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and cooling systems and work with a diverse team to keep services available. The role involves building rounds, BMS/EPMS monitoring, rack installs, PMs, and on-site support of contractors.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of electrical and mechanical facilities maintenance experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to travel between data center locations and work flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Daily building rounds to monitor electrical, mechanical, and fire/safety equipment for 24/7 reliability.
• Monitor Building Management Systems (BMS) and EPMS.
• Assist in troubleshooting facility and rack-level events within SLA.
• Perform rack installs and decommissioning within SLA.
• PM, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and repair of equipment.
