Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Engineering Technician to help maintain mission-critical data center infrastructure and support 24/7 operations.

You will monitor electrical and mechanical systems, participate in preventative maintenance, and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime. The role requires the ability to travel between data center locations as needed and a flexible schedule, including potential nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Electrical or mechanical experience in data centers (1+ year).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (1+ year).
• Ability to work flexible schedule (days, nights, weekends).

Responsibilities

• Perform daily building rounds to monitor safety and reliability.
• Monitor BMS and EPMS systems.
• Troubleshoot facility and rack-level events within SLA.
• Install and decommission racks within SLA.
• Perform PM and repairs on electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Support change management with technical writing.
• Coordinate with on-site contractors and vendors.
