Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Engineering Technician to monitor and maintain critical infrastructure across facilities.

You will work hands-on with electrical, mechanical, and life-safety systems to ensure high uptime and safe operation, including BMS/EPMS, rack installations, and routine PMs. The role requires flexible scheduling (nights, weekends), travel to multiple data centers, and close collaboration with contractors.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in electrical and mechanical facilities maintenance or equivalent.
• 2+ years of Microsoft Office experience.
• Flexibility to work weekends, nights and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Daily rounds to monitor electrical, mechanical, and life-safety systems.
• Assist in troubleshooting facility and rack-level events.
• Perform PM, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment.
• Create technical documentation to support change management.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors on-site.
• Support multiple data center locations as needed.
