Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Engineering Technician to safeguard mission-critical infrastructure and support 24/7 operations. You will monitor electrical and mechanical systems, assist with rack work, and help ensure high uptime and reliability in our Georgia data centers.

The role involves hands-on troubleshooting, equipment PM, and collaboration with facilities teams. Willingness to travel between sites and work shifts up to 12 hours is required.

Qualifications

2+ years of electrical and/or mechanical facilities maintenance experience.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to travel between data center locations as needed.

Responsibilities

Conduct daily rounds to monitor electrical, mechanical, and life-safety equipment.
Monitor BMS and EPMS systems and document findings.
Troubleshoot facility events within SLAs and perform rack installs/decommissions.
Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on electrical and mechanical equipment.
Write technical docs to support change management.
Coordinate on-site with contractors and vendors to comply with practices and regulations.
