Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Sparks, NV is seeking a Data Center Engineering Technician to maintain mission-critical electrical and mechanical systems across our data centers.

You will perform rounds, monitor critical infrastructure, and troubleshoot issues to help sustain high uptime. You will work with teams across facilities, engineering, and operations, performing preventive maintenance, evaluating faults, and coordinating with contractors.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.
• Weekend/night/holiday shifts may be required.
• 1+ years of electrical facilities maintenance, or 1+ years of mechanical facilities maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Daily building rounds to monitor electrical and mechanical equipment for 24/7 reliability.
• Monitor Building Management Systems and Electrical Power Management System.
• Troubleshoot facility and rack-level events within internal SLAs.
• Perform PM, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Support change management through technical documentation.
• Coordinate on-site with contractors and vendors per procedures.
