Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a Data Center Engineer to support Windows and Linux server administration, vulnerabilities remediation, and incident response in a NY data center environment. The role involves AD/DNS/DHCP management, virtualization, storage, DR, and rigorous change control.

The candidate will collaborate with engineering, application, and security teams, contribute to runbooks, and maintain thorough operational documentation.

Qualifications

Must have strong Windows/Linux server admin and troubleshooting skills.
Experience with vulnerability remediation and security compliance.
Proficiency in patch deployment and validation processes.
Experience investigating incidents and performing root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

Manage and maintain Windows and Linux servers in data center environments.
Lead incident response and problem resolution activities.
Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and core infrastructure services.
Oversee virtualization, storage, backup, and DR operations.
Execute maintenance and change activities with proper runbooks and documentation.
