Job summary

NTT Global Data Centers Americas, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Technician to uphold the operational integrity of critical facilities.

You will manage electrical, mechanical, and fire life safety systems to maximize uptime and work with contractors to ensure quality service. The role requires hands-on experience with chilled water systems, CRAC/CRAH, UPS, transformers, switchgear, and BMS controls, along with strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Understand mechanical, electrical, and fire life safety systems in data centers and building codes.
• Experience with large commercial/industrial systems including chillers, HVAC, pumps, and UPS.
• CPR/First Aid and NFPA70E certification during employment is required.
• Able to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor mechanical, electrical, and fire life safety systems.
• Identify and repair data center problems; ensure contractor quality.
• Support preventive/predictive maintenance programs with CF Ops Lead Technician.
• Coordinate with contractors and internal staff to minimize downtime.
