Job summary

Zekelman Industries is seeking a Data Center Electrical Project Manager to lead mission-critical electrical construction projects across Texas. The role oversees preconstruction through commissioning, coordinating with owners, contractors, and vendors to deliver on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate brings 7+ years electrical construction and 5+ years PM experience, strong leadership, and travel willingness to support hyperscale data center initiatives. Competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred or equivalent electrical construction experience.
• 7+ years of electrical construction experience.
• 5+ years of project management or equivalent leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of NEC, electrical distribution systems, safety, QA/QC, commissioning and turnover procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical construction projects from contract review through customer acceptance and closeout.
• Develop and manage project execution plans covering scope, budget, schedule, staffing, procurement, quality, safety, and turnover.
• Coordinate engineering, BIM/VDC, procurement, field operations, modular fabrication, logistics, commissioning, and turnover activities.
• Drive accountability across project teams to ensure successful outcomes.
• Manage project budgets, forecasts, labor productivity, cash flow, billings, collections, profitability, and contingency planning.
