Job summary

Zekelman Industries seeks a Data Center Electrical Superintendent to lead field execution on Texas projects, overseeing safe, efficient installation of critical electrical infrastructure from planning through turnover. You will manage large crews, coordinate with clients, engineers, and subcontractors, and ensure quality and schedule performance on hyperscale data center runs.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of electrical construction experience.
• 5+ years in a Superintendent/General Foreman or similar leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, OSHA, NFPA 70E, LOTO procedures.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specs, schedules, BIM models, and one-line diagrams.
• Proven success leading multiple crews and driving schedule performance.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall field leadership for electrical construction activities, safety, quality, productivity, manpower, logistics, and schedule execution.
• Lead foremen, subcontractors, and support personnel; develop manpower forecasts and shift schedules.
• Review drawings, specs, BIM layouts, submittals, and equipment documentation before field release.
• Coordinate with owners, general contractors, engineers, vendors, inspectors, and turnover teams.
• Oversee installation of medium-voltage systems, switchgear, UPS, generators, busways, tray and grounding systems, and controls.
• Enforce safety and QA/QC programs; manage turnover documentation and punch lists.
• Coordinate commissioning, startup activities, testing, energization, and customer acceptance.
