Job summary

Southland Holdings is launching an electrical contracting division in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. We seek an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead end-to-end execution for mission-critical data center and industrial projects.

You will manage budgets, schedules, and teams, act as the client-facing liaison with hyperscale clients, and ensure safety, code compliance, and quality across projects. Domestic travel expected as the division grows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience in electrical construction (commercial/industrial/mission-critical)
• Strong knowledge of NEC and Texas licensing/permitting requirements
• Proven track record managing budgets, schedules, and subcontractor relationships at large scale
• Experience with hyperscale/industrial or large commercial ownership groups preferred
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience in related field; proficiency with scheduling tools
• Excellent communication and client-management skills; willingness to travel across the DFW area and beyond

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end project management for electrical construction projects including preconstruction through closeout
• Develop and manage budgets, schedules, and staffing plans; track cost performance and forecast to completion
• Serve as primary client-facing point of contact; manage relationships with hyperscale and industrial clients
• Coordinate with the division's Master Electrician and field superintendents to ensure code compliance, safety, and quality
• Manage subcontractor and vendor relationships including scope negotiation and procurement
• Review electrical drawings and RFIs; drive resolution of design/constructability issues
• Lead project meetings, produce owner/client reporting, and maintain project documentation
• Collaborate with estimating and business development on pursuits and scope development
• Ensure OSHA, NEC, and local/state code compliance and permitting
• Mentor project engineers and support staff as the division scales
