Job summary
Arcadis U.S. Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer to lead the electrical discipline for multiple data center projects from pursuit through construction.
You will serve as the engineer of record and guide other electrical staff on data center design, power distribution, lighting, telecom and fire alarm systems. You will collaborate with project teams, senior and junior engineers, project managers, and clients to develop robust, efficient, and code-compliant designs, while traveling to project
Qualifications
- Consulting engineering design experience producing IFC drawings for data centers.
- BS in electrical engineering or equivalent with 8+ years of relevant experience.
- State-issued professional engineering license preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead electrical discipline of multiple data center projects through pursuit, design and construction.
- Act as engineer of record and mentor other electrical staff on data center design.
- Develop construction-ready drawings with inter-discipline coordination.
- Travel to project sites for surveys and data collection, and collaborate with client teams.
- Ensure designs meet NFPA, NEC, NETA, ANSI, IEEE, UL, UFC and IEC standards while optimizing reliability.
