Qualifications

• Minimum 4–7 years of electrical engineering experience or 8–10 years in heavy-industrial construction management.
• Understanding of construction means, methods, codes, and standards.
• Experience interpreting home office engineering documents for construction purposes.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent, including certified technical training.
• Effective oral and written communication; ability to read engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Resolve in-progress issues related to drawings and specifications.
• Liaise with home office engineering, outside firms, and client representatives.
• Provide on-site technical support interpreting documents and input to change management.
• Engage in the permitting process with Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs).
• Mentor junior engineers and field staff toward objectives.
• Ensure revision control for construction documents.
