We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to serve as the primary electrical subject matter expert for data center engineering projects, contributing to development of strategic roadmaps for electrical infrastructure optimization, capacity planning, and energy efficiency improvements

Key Responsibilities
- Support strategic initiatives for electrical system modernization in legacy data centers, including planning for power distribution upgrades, utility interconnections, and capacity enhancement programs
- Identify and evaluate new technologies, AI tools, and analytical platforms to improve electrical engineering delivery capabilities and support team scalability
- Design electrical solutions for operating data centers to improve energy conservation, reliability, and capacity within existing infrastructure constraints
- Apply knowledge of building codes, standards, and utility interconnection requirements to develop code-compliant project scopes
- Conduct electrical modeling and analysis to support design decisions and validate system performance
- Collaborate with business development teams to develop electrical engineering scopes, budgets, and schedules that align with client objectives
- Communicate effectively with clients on project progress and technical considerations, demonstrating ability to explain complex electrical concepts to nontechnical audiences
- Produce quality deliverables including technical reports, contract documents, and project documentation that support completed work
- Work cross-functionally with leadership, operations, and technical team members to deliver projects on time and on budget
- Build upon processes and client relationships established during interim period, taking full ownership of electrical engineering function
- Contribute to establishing EE as a leader in data center electrical engineering services
Technical Expertise
- 8-15+ years of electrical engineering experience in data centers or mission-critical facilities
- PE license preferred; additional certifications (DCCA, DCEP, ATD) highly valued
- Proven track record of complex electrical system design and problem-solving
- Willingness to pursue professional development opportunities including relevant certifications (DCCA, DCEP)
