Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Electrical BIM Designer to design, coordinate, and manage Revit models for electrical systems within a multi-discipline team. You will produce 3D models and 2D drawings, working with discipline leads, architects, and engineers to deliver coordinated content.

You will apply Jacobs' BIM standards, while leveraging your Revit expertise, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Hybrid work options are available across U.S. offices.

Qualifications

• This role requires BIM design experience and electrical design exposure.
• Experience with Revit, Navisworks and AutoCAD is essential.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Ability to estimate hours for design and modeling tasks from markups.
• Attention to codes, standards and client BIM procedures.

Responsibilities

• Set up and manage Revit BIM models and 2D construction drawings for electrical systems.
• Coordinate with discipline leads and project teams to ensure clash-free models.
• Produce constructable deliverables in line with Jacobs standards.
