Job summary

QTS is seeking a Development Project Engineer to support design, preconstruction, and construction activities across data center campuses. You will work with Facilities, Contractors, Designers, and real estate staff to ensure programs meet timelines and budgets.

Responsibilities include developing budgets, tracking progress, and assisting with entitlement and permitting for sites, while coordinating with procurement and security teams to deliver value-driven data center projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite, specifically PowerPoint for executive updates, and Excel to maintain budgets.

Responsibilities

• Assist Development leadership and Project Manager with day-to-day activities and responsibilities.
• Maintain updated budgets, schedules, and status reports for multiple campus projects.
• Prepare monthly development status updates for executive reviews.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to design, budget, and master development programs for sites and campuses.
• Support entitlement and permitting needs for each site project.
• Assist with scopes of work for design, construction, commissioning, and procurement.
