Job summary

QTS Data Centers is seeking a Development Project Engineer to assist with design, preconstruction, and construction activities on project(s). You will collaborate daily with Facilities, Contractors, Designers, Engineers, and Vendors to ensure clear communication and project success.

You will support development leadership, manage multiple campus projects, and help prepare executive-level program updates. A hands-on, cross-functional team player with strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent professional experience.
• Proficient with PowerPoint for executive updates and Excel for budgets.

Responsibilities

• Assist Development leadership and Project Manager with day-to-day activities.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and status reports for multiple projects across campuses.
• Coordinate with design, construction, and procurement teams to support master development programs.
• Support entitlement and permitting needs for assigned sites and projects.
• Review change orders and negotiate pricing with contractors.
• Support development team in improving project management processes and protocols.
• Represent QTS interests in OAC meetings and stakeholder coordination.
