Job summary

Quality Technology Services, LLC (QTS) is seeking a Development Project Manager (MEP/Cx Data Center Construction) to lead design, preconstruction and construction on assigned data center projects in the New Albany, OH area. The role requires coordinating with Facilities, Contractors, Designers, Engineers, and Operations staff to ensure timely, on-budget delivery.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Science/Engineering with 5+ years in commercial construction and strong MS Office skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• Five or more years of professional experience in commercial construction practices and procedures, including management of Lump Sum, Construction Management @ Risk, and Design Build project delivery methods.
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite, specifically PowerPoint for executive level updates, and Excel for budgets.
• Travel up to 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple projects across campuses with updated budgets, schedules and status reports.
• Present monthly program/ project updates for executive reviews to support decision making.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to create a master development program and budget for sites.
• Manage entitlements and permitting needs for assigned sites.
• Develop multi-phased site plans and maintain a dynamic campus master plan.
• Write scopes of work for design, construction, and commissioning services; assist in procurement and estimates.
• Evaluate pricing proposals for design, construction and commissioning services.
• Coordinate with procurement on equipment delivery and timelines.
• Ensure submittals are coordinated with site stakeholders.
• Monitor and report budget to date against the overall project budget.
• Establish schedules and lead teams to on-time completion.
• Review and approve monthly pay applications and change orders.
