Job summary

Meta is seeking an experienced Data Center Development Manager to drive site selection, entitlements, and development activities for a high-scale data center portfolio. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams on permitting, design, finance, and legal to deliver projects on time and within budgets.

The role requires 5+ years of site development experience, strong program management skills, and the ability to travel 25–50% to support multiple sites across the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a related field.
• 5+ years of site development or equivalent large-scale infrastructure project experience.
• Experience coordinating with internal staff, external consultants, vendors and stakeholders.
• Experience with a range of project management tools (e.g., Google Suite, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Drive entitlements (zoning, land use permitting) to meet project timelines.
• Lead diligence and development to assess sites, data on energy, water, taxes, incentives, connectivity, hazards, and risks.
• Organize scalable communications and track progress with internal and external stakeholders.
• Align site development with Site Selection Manager and other teams to overcome obstacles.
• Prepare project recommendations for management approval.
• Support Meta's data center location and leased portfolio strategy.
• Track ongoing site development and manage agreements.
• Develop scalable tools and processes to improve delivery and communication.
• Travel 25-50%.
