Job summary

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Designer in the Land Development Division to support our Data Center group. The role involves preparing grading plans, roadways, and utilities, and producing civil construction documents for complex projects in a collaborative team.

Ideal candidates have CAD drafting experience, strong knowledge of codes and standards, and the ability to coordinate with in-house disciplines and sub-consultants while meeting tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience as a designer.
• 5 years of experience in CAD drafting.
• Land Development experience a plus.
• Strong understanding of local and agency standards, codes, and policies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare grading designs, plan, and profile of roadways and utilities.
• Prepare complete civil construction documents/improvement plan sets.
• Assist in meeting deadlines, budgets, and completing projects on schedule.
• Maintain open communication with Project Manager and design team.
