Job summary

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Designer in the Land Development Division to support our Data Center group.

Westwood has a highly experienced and dynamic team dedicated to providing high-level professional services to our clients. In this role, you will prepare grading plans, coordinate with in-house disciplines and sub-consultants, and ensure designs meet codes and project deadlines.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience as a designer.
• 5 years of experience in CAD drafting.
• High School Diploma or equivalent and 5+ years relevant experience, OR;
• Associate's Degree and 3+ years relevant experience
• Land Development experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Prepare grading designs, plan, and profile of roadways and utilities.
• Prepare complete civil construction documents/improvement plan sets.
• Review and understand jurisdictional code requirements and implement in the design.
• Prepare construction cost estimates/quantity takeoffs.
• Perform Quality Assurance/Quality Control of work product.
• Assist in the submittal of project document
• Assist in jurisdictional coordination, response to comments, and preparation of submittal documents
• Maintain open communication with Project Manager and design team
