Job summary

SSOE Group is seeking a Project Manager with data center design experience to join our Industrial Facilities Design team. You will lead planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale industrial facilities for global leaders, coordinating architecture and engineering disciplines from concept through startup.

You will guide complex projects with high visibility, balancing scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and client expectations while driving innovative solutions and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture or equivalent
• At least 5 years of experience managing projects in Engineering and Construction
• Proven experience managing design or construction of data center projects
• Knowledge of contract management, pre-construction, renovations, demolition, new construction building systems/components
• Experience with multi-discipline teams and remote office projects

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-discipline projects across all phases, ensuring effective team development and performance
• Manage client relationships and serve as primary point of contact for project delivery
• Define project scope, develop work plans, allocate resources, and align team capabilities
• Execute projects within approved budget, funding, and schedule
• Oversee technical, cost, and schedule performance ensuring quality and contractual compliance
• Conduct risk assessments and mitigation, inform leadership of issues
• Facilitate change management with clients on scope and process
• Coordinate meetings, maintain documentation, ensure stakeholder communication
• Approve and issue project documents, monitor progress, generate client reports
• Manage invoicing, review financials, and support cash flow with accounting
• Manage contracts for external consultants and services with procurement
• Mentor project managers and support audits and improvements
