Job summary

Prologis is seeking a Director of Data Center Design Management to lead a multidisciplinary architectural and engineering team supporting hyperscale data center projects from concept through construction. You will ensure technical excellence, operational resilience, cost efficiency, quality, and alignment with client requirements.

The role requires at least 7+ years in data center design management, travel ~30%, and a strong background in greenfield and retrofit projects.

Qualifications

7+ years of experience in data center design management.
Experience managing data center design and construction for greenfield and retrofit projects.
Ability to travel approximately 30% to support projects.

Responsibilities

Lead multidisciplinary design delivery for new-build and retrofit data center projects from concept through construction completion, aligning standards and client requirements.
Establish and maintain standardized design frameworks, tools, techniques, and processes to improve clarity, consistency, and speed-to-market.
Guide internal and external teams through test fits, master planning, design milestones, construction administration, and design change management.
Define project design scope, budgets, risks, and development costs; track milestones and deliverables against budgets.
Conduct design reviews and value engineering to optimize cost, performance, and life-cycle considerations.
Coordinate stakeholders across real estate, finance, clients, contractors, consultants, and authorities having jurisdiction.
