Job summary

Equinix in Ashburn, VA is seeking a Technical Deployment Analyst to coordinate customer deployments across the implementation lifecycle in our data centers. You will serve as the primary technical coordinator among customers and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of colocation, power, interconnection and infrastructure services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in IT/Engineering/Business
• 2+ years of deployment and project coordination experience
• Knowledge of data center infrastructure (power, cooling, cabinets, cabling)
• Basic networking concepts (Ethernet, fiber, cross-connects)
• Experience managing multiple projects and priorities
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
• Ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Coordinates end-to-end customer deployment activities for new installations, expansions, and modifications
• Acts as a primary point of contact during implementation projects with customers and stakeholders
• Drives project milestones and deployment schedules to meet delivery dates
• Facilitates deployment kickoff meetings and ongoing project reviews
• Identifies implementation risks and develops mitigation strategies
• Reviews customer requirements and validates deployment readiness
• Partners with Operations, Engineering, Capacity Management, Supply Chain, and Customer Success
• Coordinates cabinets, cages, power circuits, cabling, and interconnection services
• Ensures deployment documentation is complete and maintained
• Supports technical issue resolution throughout the deployment lifecycle
• Maintains deployment status, project plans, and records
• Provides updates and reporting to customers and internal stakeholders
• Escalates risks and issues as appropriate
• Contributes to continuous improvement initiatives
• Supports adherence to standards, policies, and compliance
• Delivers a responsive, customer-centric deployment experience
• Builds trusted relationships with stakeholders
• Manages customer expectations and smooth transition to operations
