Job summary

STACK Infrastructure is seeking a Critical Operations Technician for our Plano data center campus. You will operate, monitor, and maintain electrical, mechanical, and fire life safety systems to ensure maximum uptime.

The role requires responsive handling of abnormal conditions and coordination with management on maintenance and upgrades. You will track operations, implement preventive maintenance, and support security tours while delivering high-quality customer service in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a data center or mission-critical operations role.
• Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems in data centers including UPS, PDU, RPP, chillers, CRAH/CRAC.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, maintain, and respond to abnormal conditions in facilities systems.
• Track and trend operational characteristics and report findings to management.
• Assist with preventive and predictive maintenance schedules.
• Coordinate power installations and upgrades with site management.
• Provide day-to-day exceptional customer service and support.

Skills

Electrical systems knowledge

Mechanical systems knowledge

NFPA standards familiarity

Data center monitoring

Ability to work under pressure

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

US Navy Nuclear Engineering – preferred
