Job summary

STACK Infrastructure is seeking a Critical Operations Manager for a Plano, TX data center. You will lead the Critical Operations team, maintain uptime of data center systems, and implement programs focused on safety, availability, communication, and knowledge.

You will oversee training, budgets, and vendor contracts, and report to the Senior Director, Critical Operations. You will manage site-level maintenance programs, supervise staff, and ensure compliance with NFPA and industry standards

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5–7 years in data center or mission-critical ops.
• 3–5 years in facility PM programs.
• 3–5 years in vendor and project management.
• Expert in electrical/mechanical systems in data centers.
• NFPA70e/NFPA72/NFPA25 knowledge and codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement a standardized safety culture across STACK data centers.
• Serve as the data center SME for electrical, mechanical, and fire life safety systems.
• Advise on preventative and corrective maintenance programs at site level.
• Operate, monitor, and respond to abnormal facility conditions.
• Manage capex/opex budgeting and forecasting at the site level.
• Develop maintenance procedures for events and emergencies.
• Train and mentor junior staff; conduct 1:1 sessions.
• Manage vendor contracts, procurement, and billing processes.
• Lead incident reporting and root cause analysis for outages.
• Ensure audits and compliance with internal standards.
