Job summary

STACK Infrastructure, a leading data center operator based in Manassas, VA, seeks a Night Shift Critical Operations Technician I to maintain electrical, mechanical, and fire life safety systems across campus facilities.

The role emphasizes safe operations, preventive maintenance, incident response, and collaboration with the STACK team to optimize performance. Candidates should have 1–3 years in a data center or critical operations role and be eligible to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1–3 years experience in a data center or mission-critical operations role.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and site monitoring software.
• Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure.
• Knowledge of UPS, PDU, RPP, chillers, CRAH/CRAC, STS, ATS, and pre-action systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain electrical, mechanical, building monitoring, and control systems.
• Track and trend operational characteristics and report findings.
• Provide feedback on standards and processes to management.
• Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance per schedule.
• Coordinate and oversee power installations and upgrades.
• Document maintenance using a CMMS and ensure proper labeling of equipment.
