Job summary

T5 Data Centers is seeking a highly experienced Critical Facilities Manager to lead data center operations and safety across multiple facilities. You will build and mentor a team of technicians and managers to achieve 100% uptime while ensuring compliance with policies, SLAs, and customer requirements.

You will oversee power, cooling, and environmental controls, manage budgets and vendor relationships, and drive continuous improvements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 5–7+ years in mission critical environments.
Minimum 5 years direct management of non-exempt shift-based employees.
Technical school emphasis on mission-critical operations or related field (US Navy a plus).

Responsibilities

Manage physical assets for operation and maintenance of critical and noncritical data center infrastructure.
Build a staff of technicians and junior managers to deliver 100% uptime while minimizing risk.
Manage power and cooling capacity and monitor environmental conditions in data halls.
Resolve electrical, mechanical and Fire Protection issues and communicate with management and customers.
On-call 24x7 to respond to data center emergencies.
Oversee onboarding of new sites ensuring 100% compliance with standards and lease terms.
Coordinate with HR to hire and onboard new employees; manage schedules and payroll.
Develop site SOPs and documentation; ensure CMMS usage and data integrity.
