Job summary

EverOn Data Center Services is seeking an Assistant Critical Facilities Manager to oversee critical and non-critical data center infrastructure, ensuring safety, reliability, and 100% availability. You will train staff, manage staffing, and coordinate with the Director to lead a team of technicians and contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent with 3–5+ years in mission-critical environments.
• Minimum 1 year direct management of non-exempt shift-based employees.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a colocation data center environment; establishing new data centers preferred.
• Technical training in mission-critical operations or relevant military experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the CFM in managing operation and maintenance of data center infrastructure and systems.
• Help build a staff of CFTs to achieve 100% uptime and minimize customer risk.
• Manage power and cooling capacity and monitor environmental conditions.
• Support 24x7 operations and on-call emergencies.
• Coordinate data center construction, commissioning, and transition to sustainable operations.
• Review preventive maintenance results and guide corrective actions.
• Oversee CMMS accuracy, reporting, and change control.
