Job summary

KALCON is seeking a Cost Manager in Utah to oversee budgets, pay apps, EACs and forecasting across data center construction projects. You will collaborate with the Director of Construction, PMs, procurement, and cost consultants to maintain strong controls and timely reporting.

The role requires hands-on budgeting, risk assessment, change management, and cost analysis while visiting job sites and ensuring accuracy in Procore and related tools.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of cost management experience on construction projects.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Finance, or related field.
• Proficient in Procore, MS Office, and project management tools.
• Ability to read drawings, specifications, and contracts with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Assemble project proforma with team and subcontractors.
• Review budget updates and GMP pricing.
• Oversee cost touchpoints and cost control strategies.
• Prepare EACs and monthly forecasts.
• Manage change orders and risk mitigation.
• Ensure accurate invoicing and vendor payments.
• Provide financial analysis and reporting.
