Job summary

KALCON is seeking a Cost Manager to oversee budgets, pay apps, EAC/forecasting, and change management for data center projects. The role collaborates with the Director of Construction, PMs, procurement, cost consultants, and GC to ensure accuracy and timely reporting, while maintaining Procore controls.

Qualifications include 3+ years in cost management for construction, a relevant bachelor's degree, and proficiency in Procore and MS Office. Travel to job sites is required as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in cost management for construction projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in CM, Eng, Finance, or related field.
• Proficient in Procore, MS Office, and project tools.
• Ability to read drawings, specs, and contracts with accuracy.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and cost analysis.
• Strong leader and team player with conflict resolution.
• Willing to visit job sites and collaborate with PMs and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Assemble the project proforma with the team and subcontractors.
• Review GC pre-construction budgets and GMP pricing.
• Coordinate cost touchpoints with consultants and CM cost managers.
• Oversee allowances, buyouts, and cost control strategies.
• Prepare EACs and forecast expenditures; update Procore.
