Job summary

KALCON is seeking a Cost Manager to oversee budgets, pay apps, EAC/forecasting, and change management on data center construction projects. The role collaborates with the Director of Construction, PMs, procurement, cost consultants, and GC to ensure financial accuracy and strong controls using Procore and related tools.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in cost management for construction, a bachelor’s degree in CM/Engineering/Finance, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of cost management experience on construction projects (data centers preferred).
• Bachelor’s Degree in CM, Engineering, Finance or related field.
• Procore, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and PM tools proficiency; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble project proforma with Director of Construction and team.
• Review pre-construction budgets and GMP pricing.
• Oversee cost control and reporting, including allocations and change management.
• Prepare and review EAC/forecasting in Procore and monthly snapshots.
• Support procurement, vendor management, and cost validation.
• Provide financial analysis to guide decisions and optimize value.
