Job summary

Midea America Corp., based in Plano, TX, is seeking an experienced after-sales technical support professional to diagnose and resolve complex faults in large water dispenser and chiller products, with both remote and on-site assistance.

You will collaborate with sales teams, build service processes and SOPs, and develop training materials for after-sales services while continuously improving product quality and knowledge sharing across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or higher.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in after-sales service or after-sales technical support roles, with deep familiarity with chiller products working principles, structures, and common troubleshooting methods.
• Familiarity with the data center industry, with a foundational understanding of engineering field operations.
• Strong interest in and ability to learn new technologies and innovations.
• Eligible to work with any U.S. employer without immediate work visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting & resolution: diagnose, analyze, and resolve complex faults in large water dispenser/chiller products, with remote and on-site support.
• Continuous improvement: organize failure reviews, produce technical bulletins and improvement plans, drive closed-loop product quality control.
• Sales collaboration: partner with front-end sales to provide technical support for after-sales solutions and participate in key account servicing and negotiations.
• System documentation: develop and refine service processes, technical solutions, and operating instructions (SOPs) across all after-sales services.
• Training materials: build and continuously optimize technical training documentation for large water products.
• Talent & technical training: organize training sessions for customers, after-sales personnel, and core service providers.
