Job summary

Upchurch is seeking a Controls – Mission Critical Services Technician to maintain and troubleshoot data center control systems across BAS/BMS platforms, EPMS interfaces, and power-monitoring points. The role involves scheduled maintenance, fault analysis, and coordination with field teams in high-availability environments.

The ideal candidate has experience with data center controls, understands alarm logic, and can operate under SOPs and safety standards in dynamic facilities.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret controls drawings, points lists, and sequences of operation.
• Experience with BAS/BMS graphics and alarm summaries.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on data center controls and automation systems.
• Support alarm response and degradation investigations.
• Document work performed, readings, trends, and actions accurately.

Skills

BAS/BMS experience

EPMS/DCIM familiarity

Data center/critical facility exposure

Ability to travel to service region

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; technical, vocational, controls, HVAC, or automation training preferred.
