Job summary

Upchurch is seeking a Controls – Mission Critical Services Technician to maintain and troubleshoot data center control systems across BAS/BMS platforms, EPMS interfaces, and field panels. You will work in high-availability environments, ensuring uptime and reliability while following MOPs, SOPs, and safety procedures.

This role offers scheduled PM, corrective maintenance, alarm validation, and integration testing, with opportunities for growth through Level I–IV tracks and Upchurch training.

Qualifications

• Reading and interpreting controls drawings, points lists, and sequences of operation.
• Experience with data center controls, critical facilities, or mission-critical environments.
• Ability to follow MOPs, SOPs, and EOPs and work safely in live environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on data center controls and automation systems.
• Support BAS/BMS controllers, EPMS, and DCIM-adjacent monitoring points.
• Verify alarms, trends, setpoints, and sequence-of-operations; document findings.
• Follow safety rules, LOTO, PPE, and change-management processes.
• Assist in startup, testing, turnover, and outage support as needed.
