Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Plain City, Ohio seeks an experienced BMS/EPMS Controls Technician to maintain and optimize critical infrastructure systems within AWS data centers.

You will troubleshoot, service, and upgrade BMS and EPMS, read electrical schematics, supervise low-voltage wiring, and collaborate with operators and engineers to improve reliability and efficiency of the global AWS footprint.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in industrial controls or HVAC controls (or 6+ years in lieu of degree).
• Knowledge of meters, devices, sensors, relays, and troubleshooting with standard hand tools.
• 3+ years of experience with low voltage controls, wiring, networking, and electrical/mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, service, and upgrade BMS and EPMS systems in data centers.
• Mentor Facilities team on operation of BMS/EPMS.
• Perform point-to-point checkouts between field devices and controllers.
• Read electrical schematics and control drawings; understand closed-loop controls.
• Perform safety-focused site work and root cause analyses.
