Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Controls Technician to join our Data Center Global Services team in New Albany, OH. You will install, troubleshoot, and maintain Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring System (EPMS) across data centers.

The role emphasizes field work at multiple sites, network configurations, and ensuring safety on site. Prior controls experience and ITAR readiness help, with opportunities for growth within a global cloud leader.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of controls or HVAC controls experience with related technical field preferred.
• Basic understanding of industrial controls systems, sensors, relays and troubleshooting tools.
• Experience with low voltage controls, wiring, networking signals, and related equipment.
• Ability to work non-standard hours, shifts, and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform field checkouts between field devices and controllers.
• Conduct diagnostics and maintenance of BMS/EPMS instrumentation in data centers.
• Configure networks and test communication between third party devices and controllers.
• Read electrical schematics and calibrate sensors; assist in field wiring.
• Support commissioning and systems testing; provide red-lined drawings as needed.
