Job summary

AWS Controls Technician for Service & Construction of Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring System (EPMS) supports data centers across multiple sites. The role involves installation, testing, and startup of control equipment and field devices, ensuring safety and reliability.

Ideal candidates have a technical background with experience in sensors, controllers, wiring, and networking, and will participate in commissioning and site operations to keep data centers

Qualifications

• Ideal candidate will have technical background and experience in installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of field sensors, controllers, wiring, networking and programming for industrial controls systems.
• Controls Technicians participate in installation, testing, troubleshooting and startup of equipment and controls for BMS and EPMS deployments in data centers.
• They verify, configure, and troubleshoot field devices including AHU controllers, VFDs, sensors, and network/serial devices.

Responsibilities

• Primarily working in field at Data Center sites and supporting multiple sites.
• Perform point to point checkouts between field devices and controllers.
• Perform first-line diagnostics, troubleshooting and maintenance of instrumentation for BMS/EPMS.
• Configure and test network communication between third party devices and controllers/servers.
• Read electrical schematics and control panel drawings; understand basic closed-loop controls.
