Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Controls Technician for Service & Construction of Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring System (EPMS) within AWS data centers.

You will work in the field at multiple Data Center sites, performing diagnostics, wiring, calibration, and systems testing while following safety practices. Candidates should have a technical background in industrial controls or HVAC controls, and be able to coordinate with field teams and low voltage

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent diploma.
• 1+ years of experience with low voltage controls or 3+ years in lieu of a degree.
• Basic understanding of industrial controls, sensors, relays and troubleshooting tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform field checkouts between devices and controllers.
• Diagnostics, troubleshooting and maintenance of BMS/EPMS in data centers.
• Read electrical schematics and calibration data for control systems.
• Supervise low voltage electrical contractors on site.
• Ensure safety methodologies on all on-site activities.
