Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Controls Technician to support the building management and electrical power monitoring systems in its data centers. You will install, test, and start equipment, read schematics, and supervise low-voltage wiring while ensuring safety and AWS requirements.

The role includes on-call rotation, incident response, and collaboration with vendors and internal teams. Prior AWS experience and ISA CCST certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• 4 years of relevant industrial controls or HVAC controls experience, or 6 years in lieu of a degree.
• Knowledge of industrial controls systems, meters, devices, sensors, relays and troubleshooting tools.
• 3 years of experience with low voltage controls, wiring, networking signals, and related systems.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, service, and upgrade BMS and EPMS systems across multiple data centers.
• Mentor Facilities team on BMS/EPMS operation and control.
• Audit and manage asset management systems for BMS/EPMS installations.
