Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Controls Technician for the Service & Construction of Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring System (EPMS) within AWS data centers.

You will be responsible for installation, testing, troubleshooting, and startup of controls across multiple sites, with a focus on reliability and safety. The role requires hands-on experience with industrial controls, instrumentation, and low/medium voltage systems, plus the ability to read

Qualifications

• Experience in installation, troubleshooting, operations and/or maintenance of BMS/EPMS components.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and control panel drawings.
• Strong commitment to safety and accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, service, and upgrade BMS and EPMS systems across multiple data centers.
• Mentor Facilities teams on operation and control of BMS/EPMS.
• Perform point-to-point checks, commissioning, and system testing in data centers.
• Create red-lined drawings and documentation; follow change management processes.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies and manage vendor labor and scheduling.
