Job summary

Amazon Data Center Global Services is seeking Controls Technicians for Service & Construction of Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring System (EPMS) within AWS data centers. You will install, troubleshoot and startup equipment, verify field devices including AHU controllers, VFDs, sensors, and network devices to ensure reliable operation.

Ideal candidates read schematics, calibrate sensors, and coordinate with low-voltage contractors.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent diploma is required.
• Certification or degree in a related technical field is preferred.
• ISA CCST Level I certification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform field checkouts between devices and controllers.
• Troubleshoot and maintain BMS/EPMS instrumentation in data centers.
• Configure networks and test communications between devices.
• Read electrical schematics and understand control panels.
• Supervise low-voltage wiring by electrical contractors.
• Support commissioning and system-level testing.

Education

High school or equivalent diploma

Associate’s degree, trade school certification, or other certified training in a related technical field
