Job summary

IREN is seeking a Construction Electrical Supervisor - Controls in Childress, Texas, for hands-on field supervision of PLC, fire alarm, and SCADA systems on a HPC data center campus.

You will review designs, coordinate multidisciplinary interfaces, and lead specialty contractors through installation, testing, and turnover to ensure safe, reliable operations. Some night shifts and on-site presence are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of electrical or controls construction experience.
• Strong knowledge of PLC and SCADA architectures and fire alarm interfaces.
• Able to review electrical one-lines, control narratives and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Lead field planning, execution, integration, testing, and turnover of PLC control systems and SCADA.
• Direct controls, fire alarm, electrical, and specialty contractors with safety and schedule accountability.
• Review design drawings, narratives, sequences of operation, and test plans for constructability and compliance.
• Coordinate resolutions for interface gaps with engineering, construction, vendors, and operations.

Education

Journeyman Electrician License

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering/Controls/Automation/Construction Management

High school diploma or equivalent
