Job summary

Amazon, a global technology leader, is seeking a Controls Manager for its Data Center Capacity Delivery team in the Dublin, OH area. You will lead a skilled group responsible for building management and electrical power monitoring deployments, aligning controls with business objectives.

Ideal candidates bring extensive experience in industrial controls, project leadership, and strategic planning, and will guide cross-functional initiatives to ensure reliable, safe, and efficient data center

Qualifications

• 10+ years of controls-related experience; or 12+ years with an Associate degree; or 15 years with a high school diploma.
• 6+ years hiring, promoting, coaching, leading, and developing teams of controls professionals.
• 6+ years with industrial controls in critical environments (data centers, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, oil & gas, etc.).
• 6+ years of general project or vendor management experience (RFPs, bidding, change orders, QA, RFIs).

Responsibilities

• Manage onsite teams in Ohio.
• Travel up to 30% domestically.
• Develop, implement and track team goals; report to stakeholders and leadership.
• Experience in installation, programming, and troubleshooting of BMS/EPMS or industrial controls.
• Coordinate project work internally and with other departments to ensure on-time completion within budget.
