Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Odessa, TX is seeking a controls engineer to lead BMS/EPMS for AWS data centers. You will manage scope, review drawings, and develop control BOM while coordinating with multiple stakeholders.

Ideal candidates have a solid engineering background in electrical or mechanical fields and 10+ years in industrial controls. 25% travel is required domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience with industrial controls in critical environments (data centers, pharma, etc).
• 9+ years of project or vendor management experience in construction and project execution.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholder deliverables and navigate difficult situations.

Responsibilities

• Manage scope of Building Management System (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring System (EPMS) for AWS data center construction.
• Ensure controls deployment aligns with scope of work and specifications.
• Review MEP drawings and develop controls BOM.
• Provide vendor management and life-cycle technical support for data centers.
