Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Texas is seeking a Controls Manager to lead the deployment and service of BMS/EPMS within Amazon data centers. You will manage a team of highly skilled controls professionals, coordinate with engineering and operations, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive controls experience, and the ability to drive complex electrical and mechanical projects across multiple sites in Texas.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering cross functional projects.
• 3+ years of experience directly managing, mentoring, leading, and coaching teams of controls professionals.
• 4+ years of experience in controls management of large, complex projects.
• 3+ years of experience deploying complex electrical and mechanical controls systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage remote teams in Texas.
• Travel required between 35 -50% up to 50% across Texas to support construction and data center product delivery.
• Develop, implement and track team goals. Reporting to stakeholders and leadership.
• Experienced interviewer, able to develop launch plans for new hires, and identify team needs.
• Experience in installation, programming, and troubleshooting of BMS/EPMS systems and/or industrial controls systems.
