Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a skilled professional to oversee building management and electrical power monitoring systems within AWS data centers. You will train customers, support operations, and manage improvements from scope through execution.

The role emphasizes project coordination, procurement support, and on-call responsiveness, ensuring safety and efficiency in critical infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience carrying new design concepts through exploration, development, and into deployment or mass production.
• Experience in MS Excel, Word, and Windows Operating Systems.
• Experience with power management and power monitoring systems.

Responsibilities

• Train and assist internal customers and stakeholders with BMS/EPMS systems design, configuration, validation, installation, commissioning and operation.
• Provide technical assistance and support to operations during the data center lifecycle.
• Review maintenance results and resolutions for BMS/EPMS.
• Develop project scope, schedule, budget and LOE for BMS/EPMS projects.
• Manage scope, schedule, finance and execution of BMS/EPMS improvement projects in AWS data centers.
• Assist in procurement activities including RFIs/RFPs and vendor proposals.
• Participate in AWS on-call to provide BMS/EPMS support to data centers.
