Job summary

AWS Data Centers is seeking a controls professional to troubleshoot, manage projects, and maintain BMS and EPMS systems across on-site facilities. You will work with a team of experts to develop new processes, validate configurations, and ensure reliable power and environmental controls in data centers.

You will lead corrective actions, coordinate with operations, review maintenance outcomes, and drive improvements in controls logic, SOO and interfaces, while navigating complex stakeholder

Qualifications

• Experience with power management and power monitoring systems
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent plus 5 years of controls experience, or 10 years of controls experience in lieu of a degree
• 5+ years of experience with industrial controls in critical environments (data centers, pharma, manufacturing, oil & gas, etc.)
• 4+ years of general project or vendor management experience related to construction and project execution

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and perform Root Cause Analysis or Corrective Action for BMS and EPMS issues in AWS data centers
• Train and assist internal customers with BMS and EPMS design, configuration, validation, installation and operation
• Provide technical assistance to operations during data center lifecycle
• Review maintenance results for BMS/EPMS and drive resolution
• Develop BMS/EPMS project scope, schedule, budget and LOE
• Manage scope, schedule, finances and execution of BMS/EPMS improvement projects in AWS data centers
