Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Ohio is seeking an experienced professional to maintain and optimize BMS/EPMS systems in AWS data centers. You will troubleshoot, upgrade, and support critical infrastructure while driving process improvements and safety standards.

The role requires data center experience, CCST certification, and familiarity with MQTT/BACnet/MODBUS protocols. You will lead small projects, mentor teams, and ensure compliance with change management and safety practices.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant industrial controls or HVAC controls experience.
• 3+ years experience with low voltage controls, wiring and networking signals.
• Experience in data centers or mission critical facilities.
• CCST Level I or higher certification (ISA).
• Familiar with MQTT, BACnet and MODBUS protocols.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, service, and upgrade BMS and EPMS systems in data centers.
• Mentor Facilities team on BMS/EPMS operation and control.
• Manage small to medium projects and programs.
• Perform point-to-point checks between field devices and controllers.
• Diagnostics and maintenance of BMS/EPMS software and hardware.
• Provision servers, controllers, industrial PCs, and network configurations.
• Install, calibrate, and configure sensors; read electrical schematics.
• Supervise low-voltage electrical work per AWS requirements.
• Support commissioning and system-level testing; create red-lined drawings.
• Follow change management; participate in vendor panel tests.
• Root cause analysis during testing and commissioning; ensure safety practices.
