Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Senior Controls Engineer to troubleshoot, manage projects, and maintain BMS and EPMS in our data centers. You will work with a global controls team developing new processes and standards while interfacing with cross-functional partners.

The role requires knowledge of electrical diagrams, SOPs and extensive experience with industrial controls in critical environments such as data centers. Occasional local travel to sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of engineering documentation, electrical diagrams and SOPs.
• Experience with power management and power monitoring systems.
• 5+ years of relevant controls experience in a data center or similar environment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis for BMS/EPMS issues in AWS data centers.
• Train and assist internal customers on BMS/EPMS lifecycle activities.
• Provide technical support to operations from project initiation to commissioning.
• Review quarterly maintenance results and drive closure of action items.
• Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets and LOE for BMS/EPMS improvements.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget and execution of BMS/EPMS projects.
• Assist procurement activities including RFQ/RFPs and vendor proposals.
